Finance teams at SMEs and mid-market companies still run on spreadsheets, email chasing, and manual processes. We're replacing that with an AI-powered financial OS: treasury, payments, AP, FX, and AI agents, all in one platform. Hundreds of businesses already run their finance on Round, and we're backed by leading early-stage VC firms and scouts from a16z, Sequoia, Accel, and Atomico.

Events have become our best-performing channel, and we're making them the cornerstone of our go-to-market. This is our second Founding GTM Operator hire: the first is building the systems that let our revenue function scale, and you'll build the machine that puts Round in front of the market.
The mission: build Round's network of SME and mid-market CFOs and finance leaders, one event at a time. Every room you fill creates pipeline for sales today and grows a database that becomes our branded community tomorrow, with recurring series, memberships people apply to join, and partnerships around it. You found that community and you lead it.
This is a rare opportunity to found something inside a company. The community is the startup, we're the first investor, and you're the founder.
We're looking for a builder, not a marketer. You might come from a startup you founded, a BD or partnerships seat at a high-growth company, consulting or banking where you were the one organising the dinners everyone remembers, or a generalist role where you ran launches and programmes in all but name. Previous events or marketing experience isn't essential.
Run the events engine
CFO dinners, breakfasts, roundtables, meetups, poker nights, webinars, hackathons, and our conference presence. You own the calendar end to end, from ideation with the team to execution and follow-up, and you measure every event by the pipeline it creates, not the attendance it draws.
Write the content around every event
The invites, promotion, and landing pages before. The recaps, follow-ups, and repurposed assets after. What happens in the room becomes the engine of our content strategy.
Partner for distribution
Find the organisations that already have our audience and piggyback: partnered events, co-hosting, cross-promotion with complementary startups. Bring in sponsors, from VCs to the AI and fintech brands our audience cares about.
Turn rooms into pipeline
Every event, webinar, and intro feeds the CRM, so follow-up is automatic and sales knows exactly who to call the morning after.
Found the community
Every event grows the database. Over time you turn it into a branded community that you build, lead, and hire a team around.
