The basics

About the role
This is a founder role with the risk taken out. We put up the capital, the brand, and the first audience. You do the founding.
- Events are one of our best performing channels, and IRL is our biggest brand builder. Nothing builds trust with CFOs like being in the room. Right now events run off the side of everyone's desk, and we're hiring someone to take them over and build a real function around them, from zero.
- There's no playbook, no team, and no process to inherit. You start with a calendar, a CRM, and a mandate.
- The job: build Round's network of SME and mid-market CFOs and finance leaders, one room at a time.
- Every event feeds sales pipeline now and a database later. That database becomes a community with a name, recurring series, memberships people apply to join, and sponsors around it. You found it, you run it, and you eventually hire people into it.
- In other words, you're starting a company inside ours, with a live customer base instead of a cold start, and you keep the network either way.
- You don't need events or marketing experience. You need to have filled a room before.
